When I look across the street from my parents' house, I see that park and that bandshell. Every Friday in the summer there is live music until about ten for the entire town.
Almost two decades ago, my father and I dug the trenches for that bandshell. We laid the conduit. We pulled hundreds of feet of heavy electric cable so the stage would have power. That is not a metaphor. That is mud on the boots and cable that fights you the whole way.
Those Friday night concerts are a birthright for our children, and for their children's children. We physically built infrastructure I hope will still be there for them to enjoy. Across the country there are millions of Americans with the same kind of story. We look at what we built, and what our forefathers built, and we see the value in it. We protect it. We maintain it. We do not strip it for a quick score.
A few miles away in Allentown, Pennsylvania, I know darn well there are scrappers who would tear that copper out for scrap money if they got the chance. I do not believe in tolerating that. That is how parasites eventually kill the host.
I also do not believe we should allow infinite third-world immigration from cultures that would, proverbially, culturally, and literally, tear out our nation's copper.
Build it. Or lose the commons.
Power. Water. Parks. Same choice every time. Either a people builds shared infrastructure and guards it, or the commons gets stripped, clogged with trash, and left to rot in open drains.
Where that attitude is tolerated
In South Africa, copper cable theft has become an industrial-scale attack on the commons. Transnet reported more than 1,121 kilometers of cabling stolen in the 2022/23 year alone, across thousands of incidents.1 Rail, power, telecom, and municipal systems get hit. Water infrastructure is sabotaged too, including patterns where tanker mafias profit from broken supply.2
In Chile, organized crews have repeatedly hit copper cathode shipments on freight trains in the Atacama.4 Utilities and prosecutors have also documented large-scale power-cable theft networks.5
In Brazil, copper cable theft is treated as a national infrastructure crisis across power, transit, and telecom.6 In India, thieves cut live railway overhead equipment and signaling cable for copper, stopping trains and feeding local scrap chains.7 Tanker queues and open drains are the everyday face of a culture that does not treat the commons as sacred.
Different countries. Same logic. If the culture around you shrugs at stripping the commons, the commons disappears.
Why MAGA
That is why I support MAGA candidates so hard.
MAGA is the only major force in American life still serious about guarding what our people built. Borders. Schools. Girls' sports. The right of a town to keep the lights on and the park safe for its own kids. Why the old parties are done
After the lawfare nonsense, Democrats and RINOs can never be trusted with power again. They must be locked out of power for good.
That is not a mood. That is a lesson. They used courts, agencies, and donor machines as weapons. They shielded the people tearing at the culture and punished the people trying to hold the line. Hand them the keys again and they will repeat it.
I am not interested in re-litigating every stupid lie Democrats tell about this administration and its supporters. We are past that. The record is plain. The task now is to act.
A one-party system is still not acceptable. America needs competition. The Overton window has to sit under the MAGA tent now. The argument is no longer between America First and managed decline. The argument is how best to secure the border, protect women and children, smash the administrative state, and keep the copper in the ground for the next generation.
Disaffected Democrats who still know what a woman is, and who still know socialism is evil, should break off and compete inside that window. Not as a soft Republican clone. Not as controlled opposition. As a real second pole that is pro-border, pro-family, anti-groomer, and anti-DSA.
What we are not tolerating:
- Men in women's sports
- Sick men grooming children into their perversions
- The goblins at the DSA and the socialist wrecking crew behind them
- Lawfare as a substitute for winning elections
- RINO dealmaking that sells the border and the culture for cocktail-circuit respect
Stand together
Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck and killed at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, during a question period he had invited. He was murdered for practicing the First Amendment in public. A man who answers speech with a rifle has already confessed what he thinks of other human beings. The cheers and the smear machine that followed told the rest of us the same thing: some people treat our words as a death warrant.
President Trump survived assassination attempts. The point is not another round of cable-news theater. The point is that the people trying to stop this movement have moved past argument. Character assassination was practice. Then came real attempts on a president's life, and a campus murder of an organizer who showed up with a microphone instead of a gun.
Elon Musk put the choice the way Franklin did: hang separately, or stand together. That is the unity message for MAGA candidates. School board. County. Sheriff. Statehouse. Same fight. Different seats. If we splinter for clout, donor drama, or purity spirals, they pick us off one by one. If we lock arms, keep the microphone on the table, and put competent America First people in every local office that touches the commons, we hold the line.
Red Line is how that unity shows up in public. Linked hubs. Distinct roles. One county picture. Not lockstep agreement on every quarrel. Shared strength against people who have already decided our side is forfeit.
